What if I cannot find a particular item I am looking for?
Our merchandising group is constantly adding new products weekly. If there is something we do not have, email us at support@CajunChefShop.com and let us know what you are looking for. We will try our best to get it at our earliest convenience or will offer it to you as a special order.
What forms of payment do you require?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
How do you handle backorders?
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you via email asking if you would like to back order that item, or if you would like us to forward your order immediately. Back-ordered items generally arrive in our warehouse within 1 to 4 days. If you choose to back order, we will proceed with shipping your original order and will bill your credit card for those items being shipped. After we receive new stock, we will then ship your back-order and will bill your credit card accordingly, along with new shipping charges.
Does CajunChefShop.com cover unauthorized credit card usage?
In the event of unauthorized credit card use (highly unlikely), CajunChefShop.com will pay your personal liability if it is not waived by your credit card company or bank. We guarantee it. By federal law, the personal liability for unauthorized credit card usage is limited to $50.
How can I order if I do not want to use my credit card on the Internet?
We will be happy to accept your order by phone through our toll-free order line at CRAWFISH (888-272-8775). Our office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. When ordering by phone, it's mandatory to have the items you are interested in purchasing ready for our operator, otherwise the operator will ask you to call back when you are ready to place your order. Rather than writing the phone ID numbers by hand, we suggest you use our shopping cart as if you were placing an order online. Simply fill your shopping cart with those items you wish to purchase. When you are ready to checkout, click on "View Cart" located on the bottom frame of your browser. Here you will notice a complete list of all items, including the product name and its phone ID number. Call our toll-free number 888-272-8775 and proceed with placing your order. Please have your billing information and credit card ready. Please Note: When ordering perishable products by phone, your order will be shipped via FedEx Next Day. If you have questions regarding shipping, products offered on CajunChefShop.com or any other queries, please send your comments or questions to support@CajunChefShop.com. A customer service representative will contact you accordingly.
Does CajunChefShop.com charge a sales tax?
Yes and No. To all of you who purchase product and ship your order to a Louisiana address you are subject to a 4% sales tax.
What happens if, for some reason, I receive damaged products?
We take extra precaution in packing your content to ensure it arrives undamaged. All jars and glass items are wrapped in air-bubble or foam cushioning followed by the use of anti-static, polystyrene peanut shaped loose fill to eliminate movement of contents during shipment. In the event that you receive damaged product, please contact us at support@CajunChefShop.com within 5 business days after receiving your package. Please retain all packaging material for our freight carrier's collection. Let us know which item was damaged, and we will ship you an identical replacement to you at no charge.
What kind of guarantee does CajunChefShop.com offer?
We guarantee everything. If you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days for a complete refund. Unless the return is due to an error made by CajunChefShop.com, we cannot refund shipping charges. Due to our quality assurance shipping procedures, we guarantee that all items shipped are in good quality condition. CajunChefShop.com will not accept returns on any items that have been opened (music CDs) or where the tamper evident seal has been broken (food product). All perishable food orders are final with no refund. Exception - expired product.
What are your return policies?
Prior to returning merchandise, please contact support@CajunChefShop.com to receive a return authorization number (RAN). Include your packing slip with the return authorization number and simply pack your items in the same packaging it was shipped in and return it to:

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for the return shipping costs if you are asking for a refund and are not satisfied with your order. CajunChefShop.com will absorb the shipping cost for all damaged merchandise returned.
Allow 15 days from the time you return your package for a full refund to your credit card or exchange of goods. We will notify you via email as soon as the refund or exchange is complete.
Can I send a package to a different location?
Yes, our checkout function allows you to enter a shipping address that is different from your billing address so you can send gifts to friends and relatives.
Can I cancel an order?
After you receive your email notification and purchase order confirmation form, you may cancel your order within 3 hours. Simply send us a return email stating that you would like to cancel your order.
